Yea, they were a $1500 option from the factory from like’05-’10ish. I bought them off a guy on CL for $175 which was a steal to me.

BMW/MINI has always been on top of their wheel game. These in particular are 2 piece Ronals that were a factory option.

They’re going to stay silver for now as I’ll be DDing it in Philly for about a year. However, once that’s over I might give them a nice refurb/repaint, just not sure on a color scheme yet.

That is a steal. I paid $300 for one that was nowhere near perfect after I-95 split the outer lip on her front passenger wheel. Her’s was imported to the US from Finland by the previous owner, and it must have been fully optioned as it came with those wheels, the gauge package, and LSD.

If it has an LSD it was definitely fully optioned, not very many cars came with that option.

Dumb question, but how do you know it has the Limited Slip? Just dumping the clutch and seeing which wheels spin?

That is a pretty significant difference. You should definitely notice it in a Mini. I know I can tell the difference in my Miata with similar wheel weight changes.

2.5 lb is a difference. 5 lbs is like really noticeable. I cant believe Mini wheels are 25 lbs...jesus. I think you could have bought some 18 lbs at the size?
